Every bride is a unique story.
There is a precise moment when a bride stops being “a client” and becomes something different. It happens during the first consultation, when she begins to tell her story: the theme of the wedding, the dress, the venue, how she imagines herself on that day. At that moment we understand that our work is not simply to create a hairstyle, but to listen to a story and find the most authentic way to tell it. The bridal journey cannot be improvised and does not begin the week before the wedding.
The consultation
The first consultation is the most important appointment of the entire journey. We talk about the bride: the type of ceremony, the style of the dress, her personality, the emotions she wants to convey. A romantic, dreamy bride has completely different needs from a modern, minimalist bride. A ceremony in a historic villa, a medieval castle or the heart of an ancient village calls for a different approach than a bohemian outdoor wedding. The venue already tells a story, and the hairstyle, like the make-up, must fit into that story without overpowering it or disappearing. Grand architecture calls for structured elegance and precious details that can hold their own against the setting, while an olive grove or a beach calls for lightness and natural movement. Everything else comes from this conversation: the type of colour to create, the treatments, and the hairstyle to design and try out over time. Nothing is decided by chance; everything has a logic that starts with the person and… her karma.
THE COLOUR JOURNEY
Colour for a bride is never done at the last minute. Hair needs time to respond well to treatments and to reach the right shade in order to arrive at the big day in optimal condition.
Sometimes the journey involves progressive sessions rather than a single treatment. This is the only way to achieve a natural, healthy and long-lasting result. Depending on the chosen look, we create a bespoke colour journey:
- For those who choose an elaborate updo, chignon or braids, colour works on texture and depth. Selective lightening such as babylights or balayage, applied thoughtfully, ensures that each strand of the braid catches the light differently. For those who prefer to stay with dark tones, an intensifying gloss on the natural highlights creates the same magic in a subtler way.

The treatments

The face is the frame for everything and, as such, deserves the same advance “planning”. As part of the bridal journey, alongside our work on the hair, we also prepare the skin: facial cleansing, moisturising treatments and advice on a daily skincare routine to follow in the months beforehand. The result is luminous, even skin, ready to receive make-up without the need for heavy corrections. At the salon we also carry out make-up trials: a moment dedicated to creating the day’s look together, testing textures, choosing shades and refining every detail before the big day. This season focuses on strategic highlights, lips in soft, warm shades and eyes enhanced without excess.
The hairstyle trial
The trial is a fundamental step, not an optional extra. It helps us understand whether the imagined hairstyle really works with that face, that hair and that type of dress. It allows us to make adjustments before the big day. It gives the bride the chance to see herself, get used to the look and feel confident. The trial is also when we define the final details: the height of the updo, volume, strands framing the face and the position of any accessories.
